Kyler Schubkegel

Graduate Instructor

Profile

Kyler Schubkegel is a second-year Ph.D. student in the Department of English concentrating in 20th-century American literature, especially lyric poetry and prose. Before coming to Notre Dame, he earned an M.A.R. in Religion and Literature from Yale Divinity School and a B.A. from George Fox University with a double major in English and philosophy. In his free time, you’ll probably find him tinkering with a Bach fugue on the piano, rewatching the funniest show he’s ever seen (Derry Girls), or lost on a meandering walk through his neighborhood in South Bend.
