Profile
Spencer graduated from Bethel University (IN) with degrees in Theology and Philosophy. From Yale Divinity School, he earned a M.A.R. in religion and literature, and is currently a Ph.D. student focusing on religion in 20th and 21st century revolutionary poetry of the Americas. On top of being a fledgling academic, Spencer is a poet and writer of creative non-fiction, a sporadic runner, and a lover of the beautiful, complicated, beautiful city of South Bend, IN.
