Merry Cockroft is a Ph.D. student in the English Department and a graduate instructor for the University Writing Program. Her research concerns the role of food, Christianity, and gender in twentieth century literature. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and French and enjoys studying texts across media, including film and the visual arts.
