Marie (GRAD)

I'm a PhD candidate in English, and my dissertation is on theatricality and the 19th-century American novel. I currently teach the notorious "Naughty Narrators" course (ask your friends about it), but – fret not – I will be returning to teach freshman writing for the University Writing Program this spring. Those who have taken classes with me know that I'm an especially visual thinker and love breaking out the whiteboard/scratch paper/occasional napkin (gently used?) to make unwieldy, abstract ideas manageable and concrete.
